Today we celebrated Green day in kindergarten , the most important color students should have access to in their learning environments .Green Day signifies prosperity, greenery, fertility, and nature.We celebrated Green Day to enjoy the beauty of nature. But the main motive behind celebrating it, is to outspread awareness for conserving our nature. In nursery class We did the leaves picking activity which can help the children to know the difference between paper leaves and real leaves , colour of the leaves, improves the hand moment and they will also learn to concentrate and in team work. In Junior kg we captured the time of children in palm painting activity to make a tree , which improves fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination ,it is an excellent sensory-based , relaxing and calming activity.It also helps the children to know different types of colours (water colour,crayons ,etc.) In Senior kg , the students performed the Act - Save Trees. This performance signifies the love towards mother Earth and awareness to protect our environment.
